Customer FAQs

Q – How can I cancel an order?

A – If you change your mind about a purchase up to 14 days after ordering you can cancel to receive a full refund. To cancel your order, go into your account and click ‘returns and cancellations’ to fill in a cancellation form. The full cost of the item will be refunded.

Q – How do I make a return?

A – In the unlikely event you receive an item which is damaged or not as described contact us at support@remadeinbritain.com to arrange return and a full refund or replacement. If you simply change your mind about the product you can return up to 14 days after ordering and receive a refund for the full price of the item. Delivery costs will not be refunded if there has been no fault on our part. Please note that personalised or bespoke items are not included in our 14 day return policy.

Q – What if I have any special requests for delivery?

A – If you have any special requests for delivery – if you want to enquire about gift wrapping, if you prefer to collect your item or you have any other non-standard delivery preferences – contact us at support@remadeinbritain.com and we will pass your enquiry on to the seller. We cannot guarantee that these delivery options are available for all of our sellers, but we’re always happy to ask! For more information visit our delivery details page.

Q – Can I organise my own delivery?

A – Yes. If you prefer to use your own courier service, get a quote and contact us at support@remadeinbritain.com so we can inform your seller. If you organise your own delivery you are responsible for all associated costs. For more information visit our delivery details page.

Q – What is upcycling?

A – Upcycling is the process of taking something old and redesigning it into something new! Upcycling might be as simple as renovating an old piece of furniture to make it beautiful and contemporary – or as wacky as repurposing an item to give it a totally new function! Think plastic bottles crafted into funky lampshades, discarded vehicle parts made into unique tables or reclaimed pallets carved into rustic kitchen accessories. Unlike recycling, which often involves breaking down the original object into raw materials, upcycling preserves the item and makes it into something better! It’s about evolution, not destruction! For more information about upcycling read our ‘What is Upcycling’ guide.

Q – Can I order bespoke items at Remade in Britain? How would I go about it?

A – Yes. Many of our sellers offer bespoke projects and personalisation of their existing products. Most sellers will specify on the relevant product page whether that item comes with bespoke options, but it’s always worth asking if you’ve a good idea! Contact support@remadeinbritain.com with product details and your specifications and we’ll submit your enquiry to the seller. We’ll get back to you quickly to give you the seller’s estimation of price and creation time. Please note that personalised or bespoke items are not included in our 14 day return policy.
